Since 1968 COPE has been fighting for the working class. We believe that a better, more affordable, ecological, and equitable future is not only possible some day but winnable now. 

Vancouver’s first rent controls (1974). Banning nuclear weapons (1989). InSite (2003). Vancouver’s first recycling program (1990). Free Transit for Kids (2021). These are just a few of our victories. And we keep fighting.

That’s what we’re building at COPE — a movement by and for working people. We’d love for you to join us.
